1. Who we are
Potvrx (“we”, “us”) provides an iPhone app for tracking clay bodies, piece progress photos, glaze cards, firing logs, kiln timers, and local reminders. Contact: support@potvrx.app.
2. Data we store on your device
Potvrx does not require an account. Studio content stays in the app’s local storage on your iPhone, including:
- Piece records, clay notes, progress notes, and linked glaze / firing IDs
- Stage photos and optional voice notes you capture or import
- Glaze swatches, finish notes, and firing temperature blocks
- Coin balance, purchased piece/photo slot expansions, and demo-seed flags
- Reminder preference and scheduled local notification identifiers
We do not operate a Potvrx cloud sync service for this vault. If you use iCloud device backup or Apple share sheets, Apple’s terms apply to those system features.
3. Permissions
Camera
Used only when you choose to photograph pottery pieces, studio process steps, glaze tests, or kiln results for your timeline.
Photo Library
Used to attach existing photos to a piece, and—when you share exports—to save glaze cards, firing sheets, or piece portfolios if you confirm saving to Photos.
Microphone
Used only when you record a spoken studio note attached to a piece. Audio stays on device unless you export or share it yourself.
Notifications
Optional local alerts for kiln session blocks, cooling reminders, and piece stage checks. Reminders are off by default and can be turned off at any time in Me → Kiln reminders.
App Tracking Transparency
If shown, this prompt is optional. Declining does not block studio features. See Apple’s tracking controls in iOS Settings for more detail.
4. Purchases and coins
Potvrx Coins are unlocked through Apple In-App Purchase. Payment processing is handled by Apple. We store only your local coin balance and slot expansions on device. Clear All Data removes pottery records and media but keeps coin balance and purchased slot expansions.
5. Analytics and third parties
Core studio workflows run on device. System frameworks (StoreKit, UserNotifications, Photos, Camera, Microphone) may process data as described by Apple. We do not sell your pottery content.
6. Children
Potvrx is not directed to children under 13. Do not submit personal information of children through support email if you are a parent or guardian seeking help—contact us instead about account-free local data deletion steps.
7. Your choices
- Revoke camera, microphone, photos, or notifications in iOS Settings
- Delete individual pieces, glaze cards, or firing logs in the app
- Use Clear All Data to wipe studio records and media on this device
- Decline tracking if the ATT prompt appears
8. Changes
We may update this policy as the app evolves. The “Last updated” date above will change when material edits are published at this URL.
